I don't know anything about cowberry, but my grandma makes mayhaw jelly. It's a tiny red berry that grows on the banks of rivers. We get it from the Suwannee here. We used to find them on the boat, spread out a sheet and shake the tree. The berries aren't very sweet themselves, but they make awesome jelly. Google it.

Just what part of the cow does the cowberry come from?

Anybody out there still make quince jelly? Or crabapple? My mother used to make those.

I don't think we're ever gonna make it to a thread-closing 50 pages, guys.

Why is the Song Game thread fluffier than the fluff thread?
Chad
Bonnie - Posted - 09/10/2008: 06:35:58
I don't know. Is this a weighty thread or something?
Chad the Guru has passed me up in post count. But he's just an "average member" :P :D I wonder what I am. I'll have to post and see.

Now you are an Average Member. Did that surprise you?

Yes! It did surprise me. Although I had assume 100 might be the next bump up in status ;)
Ohh yeah. Three stars, here I come :D
Chadtheguru - Posted - 09/10/2008: 12:21:06
I've been looking around a bit. Three stars is a loooong way off.

All these threads at the moment (the game threads) are started by the same guy and the last post is all by you. But I'm going to fix that.
Chadtheguru - Posted - 09/10/2008: 13:04:39
I know these threads seem senseless sometimes, but this is the kind of thing that builds camaraderie and lets people show their character outside of the "flatpicker" mold. Do you notice how all us crazy posters feel like friends already?
Chad
Bonnie - Posted - 09/10/2008: 13:07:54
Haha. Yeah :D You're implying that we all want to be friends with the crazy posters though...guess it's true in my case ;) :D
