Hey,Josiah, Come here and "splain" this
impossible stuff to us about them there picks.

HomeschoolBanjoPlayer - Posted - 10/17/2010:  05:38:52

He has 8 brothers and sisters, and he claims that they stole them and wont give them back... Yesterday at the farmers market I look down and saw a pick lying between my feet. I thought "where did that come from"? I looked up and he was grinning and fishing in his pocket for another pick!

banjoscotty - Posted - 10/17/2010:  08:16:53

Try this simple solution;
SUPER GLUE

HomeschoolBanjoPlayer - Posted - 10/17/2010:  15:19:36

I'm not sure if his mom would like that...

banjoscotty - Posted - 10/18/2010:  04:12:14

Hey There Now,,,,,UUUM,,,,ERR,,,,UUUH... Don't ask his mom.

HomeschoolBanjoPlayer - Posted - 10/18/2010:  07:32:12

What happens if she finds out?

banjoscotty - Posted - 10/19/2010:  06:20:49

Tell her anything,,,,just DON'T lie to her.

HomeschoolBanjoPlayer - Posted - 10/19/2010:  07:38:09

How can I tell her ANYTHING without lieing?

banjoscotty - Posted - 10/19/2010:  15:49:02

Well then,,maybe it's better to just let him
keep dropping the picks??

HomeschoolBanjoPlayer - Posted - 10/20/2010:  07:25:06

Maybe he should grow his finger nails really long, then he could use his fingers and not have to worry about dropping picks...

banjoscotty - Posted - 10/21/2010:  05:54:20

Yeah that would work,,,did for Chet Atkins anyway.

HomeschoolBanjoPlayer - Posted - 10/21/2010:  07:32:11

But then he might break his finger nails....

banjoscotty - Posted - 10/21/2010:  09:21:44

Now that there is just what I been sayin about super glue.
He simply paints it on nails. He will NOT die of anything
ingestive from it and the nails harden right up.Problem solved.

At CH 20 in Tampa. We did 26 weeks every Sunday afternoon. It was broadcast
live.Yes Sir,that kept us on our toes.Made many mistakes but we just laugh and
go on.It was very fun.Hope they put you on TV.

HomeschoolBanjoPlayer - Posted - 10/22/2010:  19:01:21

HomeschoolBanjoPlayer - Posted - 10/26/2010:  20:23:50

1+1=78

banjoscotty - Posted - 10/27/2010:  03:09:47

OK,,that's close.
Don't give up,we'll gitter right.
Always remember that "1" is not always "1". Now hold up "1" of your index fingers.
Now,,hold up the other index finger and put it close to the first "1". Now then
do you have 2 fingers up,or do you interpret the number 11 ?I'm sorry Josiah,,
this is as far as I've gone in school......???

HomeschoolBanjoPlayer - Posted - 10/27/2010:  07:30:47

What if I don't have 2 fingers?

Flatpicker - Posted - 10/27/2010:  12:49:36

Then you probably don't play banjo.

wheelchair_picker - Posted - 10/27/2010:  14:23:30

Thats funny !

HomeschoolBanjoPlayer - Posted - 10/27/2010:  14:53:45

Humph! I bet I could play banjo with my feet! I will have to get some bigger finger I mean toe picks...

banjoscotty - Posted - 10/28/2010:  03:38:17

Can't you just let your toenails grow?

HomeschoolBanjoPlayer - Posted - 10/28/2010:  07:05:54

I guess I could but toe nails take longer then finger nails to grow.

banjoscotty - Posted - 10/28/2010:  14:29:42

That will give you more time to practice.

HomeschoolBanjoPlayer - Posted - 10/28/2010:  16:19:50

Anyone know any good toe muscle building exercises? ;p

banjoscotty - Posted - 10/29/2010:  02:49:09

Yes, but you will need some cow manure
to walk in..

HomeschoolBanjoPlayer - Posted - 10/29/2010:  07:29:26

How does cow manure build up toe muscles?

banjoscotty - Posted - 10/29/2010:  10:42:38

Walk in it barefooted,,you will see.
