I don't get any of this. It's like, why can a brown cow eat green grass and make white milk? When I do try to reason it, I get more out of it than if I try to figure women.

You have that right Sweetheart, this place is very addictive........I just started here and already I'm hanging out here playing more than working ...my bad.....( the upside of owning your own business, the boss doesn't yell at you for wasting time)......

Carrie

banjoscotty - Posted - 02/20/2009:  23:30:10

Yeah,, the only thing better than owning your
own business is being retired.

Scotty

,,,,other than that,,we ain''t nothin but "good ole boys"

Carrie - Posted - 02/21/2009:  07:46:51

Retired would be great, but I think the creatures here on the ranch would prefer that I continue to work and be able to afford to buy them food, but maybe they are just spoiled....

Hugs,
Carrie

banjoscotty - Posted - 02/21/2009:  11:05:40

Well,,you're supposed to retire
with some money income.

Scotty

Carrie - Posted - 02/21/2009:  12:54:00

That is the idea....but I guess the stock market had a cruel joke to play on me.... Should have been betting on my race horses, they were better odds.....oh, well, life in the fast lane....

Hugs,
Carrie

I like the rodeo events but never cared to participate.
Our horses are both apples. One is an 11 year old
mare (Giggit) by name and very sweet and Ginny has
spoiled her.But it's her horse so what can I say.
Horse (that's his name) is a 5 year old gilting that
thinks he owns the world. And sometime I think he should.
They are both 4 gaited but are for pleasure riding only.
Last but not least is Ponkey the donkey. She doesn't do
anything but eat and carry our camping supplies
4 or 5 times a year.We don't know for sure but we think
she might be about 13 to 15 years old.She likes me but
she absolutly adores Ginny. My dad was a dealer so
there was always a few "beasts" around there.Bottom line,,,,,
There is nothing that compares to owning a horse.

""NEWS FLASH""----I use Ernie Ball stainless steel strings on
my Fender Tele and Peavey T-60.Just for kicks I put a set on
the Blueridge and whatta ya think ? I took it to the Sat. jam and
three of the fellers noticed an improved brightness and very clear
tone.They also last a looooooooooooooong time.Huuuum,,,,that's
for me,,,,,,,savin money

Howd that work out?

Austin
{:o)==:::

banjoscotty - Posted - 03/27/2009:  03:04:04

They worked fine.Looked kinda strange though..bronze strings
on an electric. But I have experimented very much in the use of
this set of strings for this ,and that set for something else. The only thing that makes a (big) differance is the guages used except for the stainless
that gives a brighter, clearer sound no matter what the application..
Most all the rest is nostalgia. (PS) my uncle is Earnie Ball,,,,,
