NORTHAMPTON BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL 2014 In aid of Dementia & Leukaemia research.

Howdy,

It promises to be quite an amazing day ....

Saturday 19th April 2014 from 11am to 11pm - Kingsley Working Men's Club, 120 Kingsley Park Terrace, Northampton NN2 7HJ.

There will be several large function rooms open with food & drink (inc 8 x different real ales) all at good prices. There will also be additional study rooms for instrument workshops.

Some of the UK's best Bluegrass bands have very kindly agreed to attend this charity event. So far we have ...

Joe Mac & The Old Grey Dogs...
Kentucky Cow Tippers...
Jackson Creek Band...
Band Of Brothers...
Foxchase Bluegrass Band...
Blisworth Tunnel Rats...

There will be tutored classes for folks of most playing abilities. Banjo -with Joe Mac - (Elixir Strings UK endorsed player)
Also top tutors for Mandolin, Guitar, Slide, etc.

Early afternoon - jam session / open mic - so bring your instrument.

St Giles Music, Northampton, with be there with a stand selling instruments, strings, books etc at show prices.

A raffle will be held to win fantastic musical prizes,

The money raised will go to Dementia & Leukaemia & Sarcoma research - so please do spread the word as every penny we raise might benefit someone we know at some point in the future.

Period dress is most welcome.
