After several years of hemming and hawing, I finally decided a couple months ago that launching the Mando Hangout would be a good idea. (To learn more about my reasons, read my blog entry over there).

The site is officially launching on January 3rd, but I'm announcing it via the news blogs of the Hangout sites early so folks can start joining and using the site before the big launch. We've already gone in and added a fair number of videos and links, but the real content will come from folks posting forum topics, classifieds, etc.

In other news: I've also decided to take down the Bass and Drummer Hangouts, because they've been up for a year now, and just aren't getting much activity at all.
