I've been trying to learn Dougie McClean's "I Am Ready for the Storm" and now it's stuck in my head. I hate it when that happens. We were driving into town this afternoon to watch the movie "Knowing" and I kept breaking out into the chorus of the thing.
My Sweet Baboo ordered me to stop because she didn't want to get it stuck in her head. Soooooo..........
I flipped on the radio and listened to some other music on the way till we got to the theater parking lot.
I reached out and flipped off the radio and leaned my head back and wailed....."I am ready for the storm. Yes sir, ready..... I am ready for......
There was a thud and a flash of light.
Next thing I know I'm halfway to the ticket window with my wife walking beside me fumbling with her purse.
"Whu......," I mumbled rubbing the back of my head.
"You should be more careful getting out of the car," she said, avoiding eye contact. "You could give yourself brain damage."
"Whu.....,"
