Favorite Bands/Musicians:
Too many to list because I like just about everything - except progressive jazz and most of the stuff written in the last 10 years. But off the top of my head, I gotta plug the Mill Run Dulcimer Band, Doc Watson, and Gillian Welch. I'll add more as I think of them.

Played guitar in high school back in the 60's with a folkie group, then pretty much just took it out of the case every few years for a few days of nostalgia. But now, like the infamous Freddy, "I'm baaaaaack!" Bought the Steve Krenz course and Marty Schwartz DVDs and am starting over to learn it right. Also had a brief fling in the late 70's with a 5-string banjo, and am renewing that relationship now, too. Been playing the mountain dulcimer for quite a few years, but have always used my banjo fingerpicks in a weird combo of banjo rolls and Travis picking.
