Vick was born in the holler in Carswell, West Virginia. He bought his first banjo 34 years ago for $35. Prior to that he worked in the coal mines, broke and trained horses, done machinest work, drove a taxi, served six years in the service, and opened the first Indian Motorcycle dealership in Michigan in 1999-2010. He recently picked up his business and moved south to Kingsport, Tennessee. Formerly known as Indian Motorcycle Leslie now he is building a reputation for Tennessee Sounds. The most unique music store in Tennessee.
