guitar, harmonica, trying to learn fiddle. Mostly finger picking but I started with a flat pick I guess when I'm hanging out here I'll be a flat pickier, have a hard time hanging on to those picks. Just got a 12 string and there hard to fingerpick so I've been flat picking on that.
Favorite Bands/Musicians:
Doc Watson, Dylan.Woody, use to listen to a lot of early folk groups in 60's, Kingston Trio stuff likie that, Ry Cooder, stands out Always like bluegrass, Flatt and Scruggs Hank Snow, Hank Williams

Left home when I was 18 and took the school of hard knocks, Traveled a lot in the 70's cme back to my hometown in 1980. Got married kids worked steady, got divorced, guys all gone their own way been busy with work played off and on but the last year and a half been writing some songs and finishing songs started years ago. Been going to open mikes. Never played in a band. Mostly folk tunes but I can do other stuf depending on mood. Played acoustic but bought an electric guitar about 6monthsw ago and been messing with that. Prefer songs with interesting or imaginative lyrics but appreciate palyers who can spin of a jig and smoke on those strings.
