I grew up listening to the original trio with Dave Guard. I met the after a 1962 concert while I college (then with John Stewart). I thoroughly enjoy Dave Guards version of this song but can't find the complete guitar chords for it include the introduction.
The trio song books include basic chords but no intro. Ultimate Guitar only offers the Everly Brothers version.
Being retired at 82 and playing guitar for 63 years, I have the time to master such a great Dave Guard version of this song.
Can anyone help me out on this request? Thank you !
I had a brief listen and I suspect that the intro is played on a tenor guitar, but I wouldn't know what tuning it's in. I'd be interested in what others think..............
