I guess that would be according to your guitar, how it sounds and how you play it.
If it is easy to fret, stays pretty well in tune, sounds good, why go to the expense of paying someone to set it up? In other words, don't fix what ain't broke.
If it is difficult to fret, won't stay in tune and sounds awful, then yes, by all means have it set up by a pro.
