well here,s another tune from creeky chair productions i dont know what genre to put this in i,d love to be able to put it in the bluegrass section but it dont sound bluegrass ,meaning i cant make it sound blue grassy so i,ll wait for you guys to say where it belongs, anyway it was a fun tune to learn

Nice job, Tony. I might be wrong, but I think this tune is Irish. It's also called Little Beggarman.

Yep ... and Little Beggerman has older roots in a tune called Gilderroy I believe.

thanks dave, yeah i guess it,s irish ok, but it,s hard to make it sound bluegrass with out the speed ( not the narcotic type) but you know it,s hard to shake that irish accsent in my playin, ahh someday, gilderroy thats a first for me jamey where,s it come from ?

"Gilderoy" is Gaelic for "Red Haired Boy" as I recall and is the original Irish reel that the modern fiddle tune is descended from.
