I figured out the timing was in the software. I was using Audacity and I didn't know I had to align the tracks after recording. It turns out I don't suck so bad after all!

Good work! It sounds really great.
I have this tune among my uploaded tunes too, but on mandolin. Blueridge providing the background.
But I have posted a recording I made yesterday Under The Double Eagle. You can hear my Blueridge on that one.
Keep on picking !! :-)

Mighty nice. You have an unusual lilt that's pretty cool. Sort of Dan Crary-like. Have you worked on any Irish or Scottish material?

This is pretty funny...you worry about how you'll do at jams; I was a pro for years and I think you're better than I am! Yes, there's a nice lilt - that is, a bounce, or emphasis of certain notes. And your rhythm seems fine. Very nice.

I've played around with Irish Washerwoman and Sailor's Hornpipe a couple times. Which lilt?

Nice, nice, nice. I play this on fiddle, but now that I listen to your version, I'm thinking I ususally just play it too darn fast. It sounds great the way you play it!
