My name is Dave "grizzly" Warner. I was born and raised in the Adirondack Mountains of Northern New York State. just a "stone's throw" from Quebec, Canada. I was "weened" on country and bluegrass music since I was just a "cub"! My whole family was musically inclined. My dad would play the fiddle, my Mom would play the piano, and my Brother, well he could play just about any musical instrument at an early age. I started playing the guitar at about maybe twelve or thirteen. My inspirations were Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty , George Jones , and too many others to mention. But I also had a little bit of "hippie" in me!! I loved the Doors, the Cream, Led Zeppelin, Grateful Dead, Neil Young, and of course Pink Floyd!!!!! I have a lot of friends in my "corner" that have and ARE helping me to advance my career. My Brother Fred is an accomplished Musician who has more albums out than I can count , and that has definitely been a source of inspiration to me. I hope you enjoy my music. I write songs from my heart, and I hope you'll be able to "feel" them...... I Got My Hippie Back
