I've heard amazing things about the martin kits, someone told me they're very affordable and sound like the real thing when built correctly. I've been looking around but can't find anything specificly by martin, does anyone know if martin officaly liscenses or makes them? If so where could i find them? If not, any good competitors for build it yourself kits?

Never hear of them. I'd check with the Martin website and see if they are made by Martin or just a rip-off.
Go here for Martin website: martinguitar.com/
