I own a Shure SM57 Mic and a Fishman Mini acoustic amp. I am playing an acoustic guitar. To get a good clean sound, can I just run the mic into the amp, or do I have to use a preamp or something else as well ? I watched a lot of Youtube videos, but most guitars had a built in mic. It is bad enough with guitar, mike stand, mike, and cords.
The LR Baggs M1 and M80 look interesting. But I hate "messing" with my guitar.
