Received an Eastman E10D TC the day before yesterday. With all the user "hype", I had high expectations. I was more than happy when the guitar exceeded my expectations. I used to own a very expensive guitar which sounded great, but the difference in sound quality between the Eastman and that $4000 - $5000 guitar was hardly detectable.
Having played the Eastman, I would undoubtedly buy that guitar even if I still had the more expensive guitar. It would be my "outdoors" guitar. Some players in guitar newsgroups have said they have an Eastman, and play it more often than their expensive guitars.
