I'm not sure what the heck these guys are trying to say.

Grey Fox is right around the corner!

Camping Gates Open Wednesday, July 12 at 7 am.

Music fires up Thursday at 1 pm.

So, some things you need to know...

• SCHEDULE: View and print our complete schedule. You're gonna love it!

CAMPING: We appreciate that many of you look forward to camping with your friends and family. That’s why we allow you to save reasonable space until noon on Thursday. Even so, on Wednesday, as people arrive, we ask you to warmly invite others to share your space. We call this Compassionate Camping: When you see people looking for space, or a staff member brings someone who's looking for a spot, kindly room for them.

We’ve talked with two of our biggest families who come to Grey Fox each year. Their leaders, Chris of the Grillbillies and Mark of Flying Pigs have pledged their support of Compassionate Camping. We hope you will, too! It’s the Grey Fox Way. And it's very important.

As Ron Thomason says, “A new friend is just a stranger you haven’t met.” So, help us be extra warm and welcoming at Grey Fox. We know you have it in you.

CAR CORRAL: Did you know that if you park your car in the Car Corral by 6pm Friday you can enter to win lots of great prizes? Grand Prize is $1000 cash! Second prize is a pair of full festival tickets to Grey Fox 2018. Third is one full fest ticket to 2018. Fourth, and Fifth prizes are great CD packages. When you park in the Car Corral, you’re providing more space for camping, jamming, and fun. Thanks in advance.

NEW! HIGH MEADOW DAYTIME STAGE: This expansive new tent, filled with chairs, has been added to protect fans and our artists from the heat of the day. Located in the High Meadow area, this stage will run each day until the Supper Break. After that, the High Meadow Nighttime Stage will kick into gear. By day, take advantage of this new tented & seated stage; by night stretch out in the open air amphitheater with your lawn chairs and tarps. Here's to a cooler, healthier experience at Grey Fox!

HIGH MEADOW AMPHITHEATRE SEATING: Two-thirds of front of stage is designated for low back chairs not more than 36" and tarps not more than 6x9'. The right third of the front of stage is for dancing, standing, swaying, etc. From the Sound Booth back, lawn chairs of any height are fine. Around the perimeter of the amphitheater is the place to set up sunshades and sunbrellas. Check the map. When you arrive, staff will help guide you.

Gf17-DonationBoxKWordsV1

• TASTE OF GREY FOX! Please plan to bring a bunch of non-perishable pantry items for our 3rd Annual Food Drive for local food pantries — and stay for Sunday’s show featuring Dry Branch Fire Squad, The Lonely Heartstring Band, Bill & The Belles, and performance by the 19th Annual Bluegrass Academy for Kids (100+ kids playing and singing!). You’ll be giving to a really good cause. Click for a list of recommended items.

ARRIVAL DETAILS: The local police have asked us to pass this along: On Tuesday, July 11, free day and overnight parking is available at the Milk Run and Oak Hill Town Barn. Lining up on Clay Hill Road and CR 22 prior to festival opening will be permitted by town police at 3am Wednesday, July 12. Oak Hill Fire Hall will be open and selling coffee and snacks at 5am. Visit our website for other arrival information. On opening day we will post updates on Facebook if weather becomes an issue.

For your GPS system, Grey Fox is located at

1 Poultney Road, Oak Hill, NY [just off CR 22].
