Does anyone here have or know of a tab for Earl Scruggs' guitar break to "You Are My Flower?" I can probably figure it out since it's Carter style but I'd like a tab. Checked the archive and found nothing.

I love to play the tune, but have never tabbed it. Capo VII and play in C shapes. You can play it in both octaves except for Earl's signature lick that follows "...mountains so high."

Howdy,
Earl's guitar songs are very easy to play...That is why I took them down. Too many people were taking them and claiming them as their own work. So what's new?
Everybody has copied my tabs by now and you can easily get them.

Having listened to Maybelle play this song, I can see that what I called "Earl's signature lick" is just a slight variation of the lick that Maybelle plays at this spot. I believe that Maybelle plays this with a flat pick and not the Carter Scratch. While Earl plays it with thumb and finger picks, his playing can be duplicated or nearly duplicated with a flatpick.
