Where Purchased: Artichoke Music Portland

Year Purchased: 2015
Price Paid: 900 ($US)

I play Old Time and Bluegrass. It has a full balanced sound and bright enough to stand out in a jam, no "muddiness" here, which I'm suprised about and happy. It's has a bit smaller body than a dreadnaught but still has a lot of punch.

It was setup for light to med-light strings but can mediums no problem. I'll use lights until I see a need to change, but as of right now, they work well in my band. The action is awesome, best I've seen.

Beautiful, see my logo. It's a spruce top, mahogany sides and back. I had to add a pick guard but that's about it. They can be purchased with electronics but I opted not to include. Overall, love the guitar.

Customer Service

Bought locally and Artichoke is great to deal with.

It did not come with a pick guard but this is understandable since it is folk guitar, but I added one for $20

Overall Comments

It's made in Quebec and I am very pleased with the guitar overall. I thought about a Martin, but once I tried this one, I couldn't put it down. I can hear myself in jams and others can hear me too, which is nice. I like the body size compared to my other dreadnaught. I highly recommend this one.
