I started playing in 1990 at age 20 while at college. I became serious about guitar in the mid-90's when I began studying classical guitar. I started flatpicking seriously a while after that, got hooked on old guitars which I couldn't afford, and started teaching guitar so that I could buy a few. A few years later I have some pretty cool guitars and I've quit teaching (one too many black sabbath requests). Now I just play all of the time for fun.
