... How's it all going? Looks very different and a little harder to navigate. But hopefully it's still live?

I've been focussed on fingerpicking for a few years, but enjoying a bit of flat-picking again these days.

Currently working on trying to get my right hand in shape. Using Brad Davis's / Dan Miller's book, but it's early days. Nice to play stuff very slowly though. Sort of takes the pressure off :-)

We're still here. It's slow, but still viable.

Slow, but still viable - sounds like a description of me! Or my guitar playing.

Yeah there's a few of us who show up occasionally, but don't expect a quick response.
Oh, and welcome back!

Cheers DragonSlayer.

I'll hopefully have some playing to post soon. Just need to get back up to speed!

Hi, delboy !

I haven't been around much, either, after having disappeared down the jazz rabbit hole for awhile. Took out my Martin for the first time in a long time a few days ago, and remembered how much fun it could be to flatpick a fiddle tune. It's going to take some work to scrub the rust away and get my fingers back in shape, but -- like the rest of us these days -- I've got plenty of time, it seems. Stay safe.

Yes, that jazz rabbit hole. It is very enticing, isn't it? There must be some middle ground where we can do both... And with that in mind I recently bought Flatpicking Essentials Volume 8. Though haven't had time to dig into yet.

Take it easy,
Derek
