Bought online -- the bricks-and-mortar store is currently closed for re-modeling, but my impression is that they do a high-volume online business. Traded a few emails with Maury on the subject of tonewoods, then visited some local stores to get the sound and feel. When I decided on a model I chose for factory make, though they offer set-up for an extra price. The price is good -- write them for information on pricing below the minimum advertised price (MAP). I asked for very minimum modifications and the guitar came within days -- but then I don't live far from the shop. Overall the experience was good, and I'd buy from them again -- perhaps the highest praise possible. My one complaint? They don't sell mandolins and banjos!
