Sound

Unbelievable sound on this guitar. I am experimenting with various string-makers and all sound very good. It gets used extensively in the studio and I mic it with an AT 4041, and sometimes double-track with a Fathead Ribbon. As fro variety, it can sound like a killer or a weeper. Just depends on what and how you want to play.

Setup

Setup was good. Action good. No modifications were necessary.

Appearance

Nice to look at. The rosewood is a deep reddish color. The sitka is aging nicely.

Reliability

Solid tuners, chrome. The bracing is good, can't see any weak spots.

Customer Service

Dealt a few times for this and other guitars. They are always responsive, helpful, reasonably couteous. Not as good as Beard, but good.

Components

The parts are all good and solid. As for standing out otherwise, the tone, clarity and volume. If you need to to project, over some other instrument, it's quite simple-just pick harder.

Overall Comments

No issues with this at all. This is a lot of guitar.
